Flow & Application Control

The technology can also automatically control your variable-rate application (VRA) and section control with prescriptions and coverage maps to reduce over and underlap.
MagrowTec
MagrowTec is a patented technology that optimises spray droplet sizes to ensure the right amount is applied and significantly reduces drift and run-off.
MagrowTec uses permanent rare earth magnets to expose pesticide fluid to static non-uniform magnetic fields under appropriate flow conditions, impacting the droplets' physical properties to optimise spray droplet formation, droplet dynamics, and droplet adhesion.
Essentially, MagrowTec enables growers to use smaller droplets while minimising drift, boosting yield productivity and ROI, and reducing input wastage.
Easy to install, operate and maintain due to no moving parts, MagrowTec can also operate in higher wind conditions than most conventional sprayers.
The system has been proven to increase coverage by up to 20%, reduce drift by up to 70%, and reduce chemical costs by ~25%.
WeedSeeker 2
Trimble’s most effective weed control solution, the WeedSeeker2® spot spray system senses if a weed is present and signals a spray nozzle to precisely administer an exact amount of chemical on the weed alone.
By not ‘blanket spraying’ your field, WeedSeeker 2 greatly reduces the amount of herbicide necessary, resulting in lower input costs and greater operational savings due to fewer tank refills.
TheWeedSeeker2® spot spray system has been proven to reduce herbicide usage by up to 90%.
Bilberry
Trimble continues to show its dedication to leading spray solutions. Last year, the company announced its acquisition of Bilberry, a French technology company specialising in selective spraying systems for sustainable farming.
Bilberry is a pioneer in applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology that identifies a wide variety of weed species in real time for a broad range of crop types. By using AI, the Bilberry system provides a green-on-green spray solution that eliminates the need for blanket spraying by targeting and spraying weeds locally.
The system has been shown to reduce the use of herbicides by over 80% while protecting the environment and significantly lowering input costs for farmers.
